Energy

 Energy is neither created nor destroyed. It is transferred or changed from one form to another. In essence, it is a power that is derived from the strength and vitality to a degree, from the utilization of physical and mental activity. Since energy is transferred why do some people possess “Great Energy” and most a negative energy? If energy is transferred from one form to another why aren’t we all positive by nature? These questions are constantly asked daily. To find the answer, we must first look within. If we all possess the energy required to reach Nirvana, the world may perhaps be a better place. The energy we possess even if we don’t intend it to be, can be absorbed by another. But life can present challenges which makes our journey difficult. However, you have the power to achieve your sense of being through the utilization from the strength and vitality of physical and mental activity. Imperfections

“Accept the distortions in you. Because when you accept them you can transform them. We are all here to find the areas of imperfections, to love them and to understand them”. An excerpt from the book, Becoming Nobody written by Ham Dass. It’s teachings like this that helps me chase a better version of myself. Ham Dass like many teachers such as, Ghandi and Thich Nhat Hanh, help me understand life. Help me value life in its own existence. To Appreciate even the minute things life bring to us Good and Bad. Years ago, I struggled with an identity crisis in understanding who I am and what is my purpose. I would try to hold myself accountable to reach successes I’d see all over social media. Not to say this was bad but everyone and everything seemed so perfect. Living the perfect life, have the perfect car, and the perfect job.
