LOVE

Love is a crazy feeling. Its a feeling that can drive you crazy. This feeling no matter what you do, you can’t seem to get rid of it easily. Love can make a blind Man see. It can move mountains. It can turn the river gold. Love is insane. Only if you believe in it. Only if you value yourself and the world around you. Only if you open and allow yourself to feel this crazy, insane but absolutely desirable feeling. However, sometimes we view love as an idea that must be present. We assume that who we are, what we do, and how we act must be loved by everything and everyone. We view love as an subjective perspective or experience that is the gold standard to our state of being. I am learning the difference between the types of love I value in my life. The type of love, you may have received from your family- that unconditional love. I am learning that love, is objective. To value love we must value ourselves. We must accept our flaws, we must accept who we are. Many times, we come to a fork in the road situation, where people or events occur and it’s very difficult to find love. For example, you are driving on the highway enjoying  good vibrations, then all of sudden someone cuts you off and now your energy and vibrations are gone. You get upset and want to flip the person off or chase them down and tell them  unruly things about themselves. Loving unconditionally means that even in tough times, even when someone cuts you off on the highway, your peace and energy goes unbothered. You can find a sense of calmness in understanding that the person who cut you off may be running late for work, may have an emergency or is a disrespectful peasant who runs instructional seminars on how to cut people off. It has nothing to do with you and your peace. Still may you unconditionally love, and continue to your destination unbothered. Love yourself, value yourself and find peace in your flaws. Then and only then can you accept life, the people and world around you. Love unconditionally, open your heart and allow failure and lessons to strengthen you so that you may continue on your journey of peace.
