Motivation vs. Habits

 Is it your motivation or a set of habits that determine success? I find myself asking this question daily. Am I motivated today ? Or is it this routine I hold true to no matter the circumstances. What if I’m not motivated to go to the gym or finish a project? What if I have poor habits but am motivated for success? What does one have to do with the other?!? Answer. We can’t have 1 without the other. I say this because motivation is a general desire or willingness to do something for reasons one has to reach their ultimate success. In that, motivation sets the tone to push you in a positive direction to adapt good habits. Habits that are practiced unintentionally or intentionally consistently to reach our ultimate goals. So why motivation vs. habits. If one can’t be without the other? Because once we understand the difference we can better manage our behaviors when we are not motivated. LOVE

 Love is a crazy feeling. Its a feeling that can drive you crazy. This feeling no matter what you do, you can’t seem to get rid of it easily. Love can make a blind Man see. It can move mountains. It can turn the river gold. Love is insane. Only if you believe in it. Only if you value yourself and the world around you. Only if you open and allow yourself to feel this crazy, insane but absolutely desirable feeling. However, sometimes we view love as an idea that must be present. We assume that who we are, what we do, and how we act must be loved by everything and everyone. We view love as an subjective perspective or experience that is the gold standard to our state of being. I am learning the difference between the types of love I value in my life. Energy

 Energy is neither created nor destroyed. It is transferred or changed from one form to another. In essence, it is a power that is derived from the strength and vitality to a degree, from the utilization of physical and mental activity. Since energy is transferred why do some people possess “Great Energy” and most a negative energy? If energy is transferred from one form to another why aren’t we all positive by nature? These questions are constantly asked daily. To find the answer, we must first look within. If we all possess the energy required to reach Nirvana, the world may perhaps be a better place. Imperfections

Being vs. BE

 We idolize things, people, and ideals because it may seem greater, more pleasurable or more important. When we idolize an idea it is thought that we can achieve our success with our time. When we idolize people we place them on this pedestal they are better and worth our time. These two idolizing can make or break us. I say this because the only thing we should idolize is our being. Our being coming into fruition, our being; completely inspired by the values people we admire, coming to fruition. We must idolize our being. A being in a place and a realm created by YOU. In our society in today’s world it is easier to get lost in translation. This means we live in a world where who you truly are may not be acceptable according to social norms. What is fitness!?

What is fitness? Do you define fitness as a state of being!? How you feel? Or how you should look? Fitness perhaps can be defined as the mental dexterity one may possess. Fitness is by definition the state of being physically, emotionally and mentally healthy. These three aspects are important for overall well being. However, these three aren’t usually aligned with one another properly. I say this, because we live in a world where the physical outweighs the emotional and mental. We strive so hard to achieve this physical standard set by someone, society etc that we negate the emotional and mental strength we need. Put it this way, when you scroll through social media and see the physical body being displayed over and over again. You come to realize you cannot live up to the standard they set. Inspiration

Inspiration(n)- the process of being mentally stimulated to do or feel something, especially to do something creative. To be inspired is to be mentally stimulated. To be inspired, is to be passionate about an idea, thought or belief. Inspiration therefore is the emotion that drives us to achieve our ultimate successes. Who/ what inspires you to achieve your ultimate success? Is it inner motivation? Or is it the dream to be free? The dream to be free begins with a thought, an idea and belief in something. It is tough sometimes to believe in something and continue to believe in it because of the inspiration achieve it. The road that begin with just a thought can quickly fade with another thought that it cannot be achieved. Then inspiration fades. Like the closing credits of a movie. But as quickly it can fade; it can also quickly grow into something that motivates others.
